The quality of an event also depends on the decisions that make it possible: how we define assignments, handle information, respect people and use resources. This page brings together the principles and documents that guide 20ACTION’s work.

Read the Quality Policy →Fair business dealings, respect for people, confidentiality and the management of conflicts of interest.
Read the Code of Ethics →Rules for gifts, hospitality, assignments and payments, with defined responsibilities and documented decisions.
Read the Anti-Corruption Policy →Accessibility, working conditions and resource use: commitments translated into practical objectives for each event.
Read our commitments →This Code defines the conduct required in the design and management of events and live communication activities. It applies to management, employees and collaborators when working for 20ACTION. Relevant provisions are communicated to suppliers and included in assignments where applicable.
We communicate our services, expertise and results truthfully. We present clear proposals and estimates, specifying activities, costs, exclusions and terms. We agree and document material changes before implementation. We do not claim awards, certifications, results or experience that we cannot substantiate.
We neither offer nor accept improper benefits to obtain assignments or influence decisions. Anyone with a personal or financial interest in a business decision informs management and refrains from taking that decision until the conflict has been assessed. The assessment and the measures taken are documented.
We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, intimidation or degrading treatment. We encourage respectful collaboration and assign work based on skills and project requirements. We plan schedules and workloads with people’s health and safety in mind and clarify operational responsibilities.
We use client information only for authorized purposes and restrict access to those who need it. We respect rights in images, music, videos and creative materials. Before publishing case studies, names, logos or footage, we check permissions and terms of use. We do not enter confidential information into external tools, including artificial intelligence tools, without appropriate assessment and authorization.
We define objectives, points of contact and activities. We promptly report issues, risks and deviations and propose corrective action. We consider accessibility and participants’ needs from the briefing stage, avoiding generic promises that the project cannot support.
Anyone who identifies conduct contrary to the Code may contact management. Management assesses the facts, limits information sharing to those who need it and does not tolerate retaliation against anyone who raises a concern in good faith. This ordinary procedure is not presented as a whistleblowing channel compliant with specific legislation.
Management approves the Code and oversees its communication. Simone Sidoli is the contact person for its implementation. Breaches are assessed in accordance with applicable rules and contracts; this document does not introduce automatic penalties. The Code is reviewed at least annually and whenever activities or material risks change.
This policy governs the prevention of corrupt conduct in business relationships, procurement and event management. It applies to management, employees and collaborators working for 20ACTION. It supplements the Code of Ethics; it is neither an organizational model under Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001 nor an ISO 37001 certification.
Promising, offering, requesting or accepting money, favors or other benefits intended to improperly influence public or private decisions is prohibited. This also applies to offers made through third parties. Informal payments to speed up activities or procedures that are already due are not permitted.
Gifts and hospitality must serve legitimate professional purposes, be proportionate and occasional, and comply with the recipient’s rules. Cash, cash equivalents and improper personal benefits are prohibited. Planned expenditure of this kind requires prior written management approval and a record of the recipient, value, purpose and decision. Benefits received are declared promptly; where there is doubt, they are not used and their return is considered. Anyone benefiting personally does not approve their own transaction. Personal benefits are not offered to decision-makers during tenders or contract award decisions.
For projects involving public authorities, healthcare professionals or other regulated parties, participation, hospitality and remuneration arrangements are checked before commitments are made, taking applicable legislation and client rules into account. General project approval is not assumed to cover every individual expense.
Decisions are based on expertise, quality, value for money and project requirements. Assignments specify actual services and fees. Payments must be consistent with the contract and supported by verifiable documentation. Requests for payments to parties outside the contract, commissions without identifiable services or inconsistent documents are put on hold and referred to management. Changes to payment details are checked through an established contact.
Donations and sponsorships require a documented purpose, identification of the beneficiary and written management approval. They must not be used to obtain preferential treatment. Personal interests in beneficiaries or suppliers must be declared before the decision and managed through abstention and a documented assessment.
When an improper request is received, the recipient does not proceed, retains relevant information and informs management without conducting an independent investigation. Management assesses the case, identifies the necessary measures and documents the outcome. Information is handled with restricted access; anonymity is not promised through channels that cannot guarantee it.
Simone Sidoli is the contact person for this policy. Management communicates the rules and reviews records, authorizations and irregularities at least annually. The review identifies any corrective actions, with an owner and a deadline. Documentation is retained with controlled access and retention periods determined by applicable obligations and processing purposes.
